One of the largest and most modern integrated steelmakers in the world, Vallourec Tubos do Brasil S.A. is the market leader in the domestic market for the production of seamless steel pipes. Besides the Barreiro Plant in Belo Horizonte ( MG ), the company controls Vallourec Florestal ltda., Vallourec Mineracão Ltda. And Tubos Soldados Atlânticos ( TSA ). It counts also with 2 sales offices – one in São Paulo(SP) and another in Rio de Janeiro(RJ)-; a branch in Diadema (SP) and 2 in Rio Grande do Sul (in the cities of Gravataí and Caixias do Sul), besides 2 logístic operations bases – Pojuca (BA) and Rio das Ostras ( RJ ).

The Barreiro Integrated Plant which is one of the most well-equipped steel making complexes in the international market occupies an area of approximately 2 million square meters in the Barreiro district in Belo Horizonte. The plant has the capacity to manufacture approximately 550 thousand tons of tubes a year considering the current product mix. Vallourec's seamless steel pipes supply both domestic and foreign markets and are submitted to rigorous testing which assures their high quality level.
