The first SAW Pipe mill (UOE) was commissioned in the year 1987 in Kosi Kalan, State of Uttar Pradesh and thus Jindal SAW Ltd. became the 1st Pipe Mill to produce LSAW Pipes in India.

With a vision of establishing Jindal SAW Ltd. as a foremost supplier of Line Pipes globally, 2nd Pipe Mill was commissioned in the year 2000 close to port Mundra- The first major all-weather private port in west coast of India, Kutch District in the state of Gujarat. In order to cater the rising demand, SAW Pipes division continued and now has expanded to Seven (7) Pipe Mills in India and two (2) in the United States.

In addition, we provide relevant, value-added services by way of specialized internal and external Anti-Corrosion Coatings, Connector Casings and Hot Pulled Induction Bends thus we call ourselves as TOTAL PIPE SOLUTION COMPANY.

JINDAL SAW Ltd. has manufactured and supplied more than 25,000 Kmsof Line pipes & exported in excess of 14,000 Kms of Line pipes for On-shore and Off-shore pipeline projects across the world. Jindal SAW’s progress in international markets reached new heights when Jindal SAW 
Gulf LLC, Abu Dhabi started with its operations. Being the first and the largest integrated plant in Middle East, Jindal SAW DI Pipes meet even for the most demanding line pipe applications.

Jindal SAW Gulf LLC, Abu Dhabi is a subsidiary of Jindal SAW Limited, India, a part O.P. Jindal Group. It is the first largest state-of-the-art integrated plant in Middle East producing large size Ductile Iron Pipes of various sizes and focuses on providing high quality techno-economic products and solutions for water transportation and sewage systems in the wider MENA region.

Ductile Iron Pipes produces here ranges from DN 200 - DN 2200 and the plant has an installed capacity of 350,000 MT per annum. Ductile Iron fittings are also manufactured in this unit.

The plant has been conforming to ISO 2531, BSEN 545, BSEN 598 and ISO 7186. It is also accredited with ISO 9001:2008 Certification, to manufacture Ductile Iron pipes in UAE at Abu Dhabi (Mussafah ICAD III) following stringent quality controls at every stage to create a product of international repute. The plant has been accredited for product certification by Bureau Veritas.

It also offers various coating facilities like Zn & Zn-Al Coatings as per National & International Standards; Blue/Red Epoxy or Black Bitumen and External and Internal Polyurethane Coatings as per BSEN 15189 and BSEN 15655 respectively.
