SPECIFICATION FOR NICKEL ALLOY (UNS N06625 AND UNS N08825) WELDED PIPE

 1.Scope 

1.1 This specification covers elded UNS N06625 and UNS N08825 pipe in the annealed condition ( temper) for grneral corrosion applications.

1.2 This specification covers pipe sizes in schedules shown in Table 1. 

1.3 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be egarded as the standard. The values given in parentheses are for information only. 

1.4 The following precautionary caveat pertains only to he test mehods portions, Sectons 7 and 13, of this specification: This standard does not purport to address all of safety cconcerns, if any, associatsd with its use. These permissible variations in ouside diameter apply only to material as finished at the mill before subsequent swaging, expanding, bending, polishing, or other fabricating operations.
Wall thickness variation shall not exceed ±12% of the nominal wall thickness. COvality is the difference between maximum and minimum outside diameter measured at any one cross section. There is no additional tolerance for ovality on material having a nominal wall thickness of more than 3% of the outside diameter. On this material, the average of amximum and minimum outside diameter measurements above. An additional ovality allowance of twic the outside diameter tolerance spreads shown above, applied one half plus and one half minus, is allowed for material having nominal wall thickness of 3% or less of nominal outside diameter.
