ASTM B-444 / ASME SB-444
SPECIFICATION FOR NICKEL-CHROMIUM-MOLYBDENUM-COLUMBIUM ALLOY
(UNS N06628)PIPE AND TUBE

1.Scope

1.1 This specification covers nickel-chromium-molyb-demum-columbium alloy (UNS N06625) in the form of cold-worked deamless pipe and tube. The general requirements for pipe and tube are covered by Specification B 829.
1.1.1 These products are furished in twl grades of different heat-treated conditions:
1.1.1.1 Grade 1 (annwaled) - Material is normally employed in service temperaures up to 1100F (593?). 1.1.1.2 Grade 2 (solution annealed) - Material is normally employed in service temperatures above 1100F(593?) when resistance to creep and rupture is required.

NOTE ? Hot-working or reannealing may change properiws significantly, depending on working history and temperatures,

1.2 The followig precautionary caveat pertains ony to the test methods portoion, Section 12, of this specidication: This standard does not purport to address all of the safety soncerns, if any, associated wit its use. It is the responsibility of the user of this standard to estability appropriate safet and health practices and determine the applicability if regulatory limitations prior to use.
